Savor the Coast | A Coastal Tasting and Dinner Experience at Papilio Park, 5PM with Lou Bank, Miles Macquarrie, John Harley of Serenoa Shellfish and Alys Beach’s Chef Drew Dzejak

Thursday, November 14th 5PM

Papilio Park

Sacred Agave’s Lou Bank, Serenoa Shellfish’s John Harley, and Shiny Dimes Oyster Farm’s Miles Macquarrie are teaming up to host our Alys Beach Crafted Savor the Coast dinner, where flavors harmonize between fresh Gulf and bay catches paired with a variety of agave spirits. We’ll begin this tasting exploration with a journey through different coastal regions of Mexico, exploring such agave spirits as tequila, mezcal, and raicilla, complimented by regional bay oysters and the savoring of both the tasting elements and the stories behind each varietal. Not only will you gain insights into the world of agave spirits, but this team will share their professional tips for properly shucking your oysters! Following the tasting, enjoy a three-course coastal dinner prepared by Alys Beach’s own Chef Drew Dzejak with agave spirit cocktails crafted by master mixologist, Miles Macquarrie of the Kimball House (Decatur, GA).
